What is the Hot Wheels Series?
3 new Hot Wheels cars are making their first appearance in Forza Street! To celebrate their arrival, special limited Events allow you to increase your chances of adding them to your collection and improving their Star Rating. These events are accessible as soon as your Collection Level is 5 or higher.
How long is the Hot Wheels Series?
The Hot Wheels Series starts on December 14th, 2020 and ends on January 10th, 2021, for a total of 4 Weeks. Each week, from Monday to Friday, you can progress in 3 separate Events each with their own difficulty and rewards. During the weekend, a smaller Special Event will be available, featuring different progression paths.
How do I progress?
The Hot Wheels Events do not require locking in a car lineup! Instead, you get to select which car you want to use for each Race. Once a car is used in a Hot Wheels Event’s race, it cannot be used in any other Hot Wheels Event’s race for the day. All used cars will be available the next day so you can continue your progression on the Hot Wheel Events.
Your progression in an Event does not reset every day; instead, you have 5 days to progress as much as you can in the 3 weekday Events and 2 days for the weekend Special Event. Since you can progress in all 3 weekdays Hot Wheels Events in parallel, choosing what car to use in which Event Race is key to success!
What can I win?
Progressing in the Hot Wheels Events will award you Hot Wheels Chips. These Chips may be used for "Featured Hot Wheels” Spins, which only last for the duration of the Hot Wheels Series. Each week of the Series has a specific “Featured Hot Wheels” Spin for the week. The weekly “Featured Hot Wheels” spin features all game cars, but with an increased chance to win the featured Hot Wheels of the week.
There is also a “Guaranteed Hot Wheels” Spin! This spin is only used with Hot Wheels Cards, but guarantees you a Hot Wheels car.
When the Hot Wheels Series ends, your Hot Wheels Chips will be converted in Credits while unused Hot Wheels Cards will be lost, so use them while you have them!
How do I earn Hot Wheels Chips, Cards, and Crates?
Each Hot Wheels Event’s Race may award you Hot Wheels Chips based on the PI difficulty you chose for your opponent. Hot Wheels Chips are also obtained through the Hot Wheels Events’ maps.
Hot Wheels Cards are much rarer than Hot Wheels Chips; you need to reach them on the Event maps to get them! Since they guarantee you a Hot Wheels, aim for them as early as you can!
Alternatively, you may be offered the opportunity to choose between Hot Wheels Chips or a Hot Wheels Crate. Hot Wheels Crates give much better rewards than Hot Wheels Chips, but are only opened if you complete the Event.
