Here are some tips for troubleshooting audio issues.
Update Audio Drivers
Please make sure that you have updated your audio drivers to the latest version.
Changing Default Format
When the game audio is being rendered at a different sample rate and bit depth to the native Windows settings, you may experience audio crackling or no audio at all.
- Settings
- System
- Sound
- Device Properties
- Advanced
- Change the default format to be 16bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality) or 24 bit 96000 Hz as the output format (please try both).
- Restart your game.
Spatial Audio
Toggle Spatial Audio off/on.
Speaker output
Set your Speakers to 7.1 output.
Alternate Audio Outputs
If you are not getting in game sounds and your PC has more than one Audio Output (Speakers/headphones/HDMI/Display Port etc.) please check that the audio isn't being routed to an alternate output. Disabling that output may resolve the issue.
Update BIOS firmware
Please make sure that you have updated your BIOS firmware for on board sound cards.
If you are still experiencing any audio issues, please fill out the Audio Issues ticket, attach your DXDIAG and one of our Customer Advocates will review.
