Q: What benefits do I receive as a Forza Insider?
A: Forza Insiders have access to the following unique perks:
- The chance to participate in playtests for in-development Forza Motorsport updates where you can help us raise the quality bar before release.
- Give your opinion on our games, new features and concepts via exclusive surveys.
- Private forum access to chat with Forza developers and other Insiders on new game changes.
- Earn in-game rewards for Forza Motorsport like credits, for Insider program participation. The more you do, the more you earn!
Q: How can I participate in a playtest?
A: Keep an eye on aka.ms/ForzaInsiders for playtest invites. If you are selected for an upcoming playtest, that information will be available for you on the Insider website.
Q: My friend who is also a Forza Insider received an invite to participate in a survey or playtest that I did not receive. Why is that?
A: Not all Forza Insiders will be invited to the same surveys or playtests. We adjust the number of participants in each test based on the feedback we’re looking for.
Q: How do you determine which Forza Insiders are selected for surveys or playtests?
A: Survey and playtest selection is based on a variety of criteria, such as platform choice, how you engage with Forza games, your location and other parameters. Each opportunity to provide feedback presents different needs and objectives, so we’ll consider you for those most appropriate.
Q: Which Forza games will have playtests?
A: Currently we only plan to have playtests for future Forza Motorsport game updates.
Q: Will there be playtests for future Forza Horizon 5 updates?
A: We have no plans for Forza Horizon 5 playtesting at this time.
Q: What information is being collected from me and how are you processing this data?
A: As part of the Forza Insiders program, we have collected some personal information including your email address to contact you and your Xbox Live Gamertag so you can participate in surveys and playtests. We may also leverage data from your gameplay telemetry, and your PC DxDiag info for research. Remember you can leave the Forza Insiders at any time. Upon deregistration, we will delete your identifying information.
Q: I signed up for the Forza Insiders program, however I cannot access the private Insiders forum. How do I gain access?
A: We are aware of an issue where some Forza Insiders are unable to access the private Insiders forum after signing up for the program. This can be resolved by signing out of your Microsoft account on the Forza forums and resigning back in. Please note that you might need to do this across all your devices (desktop and mobile) and web browsers before the Insiders forums become available to you.
