Q: What is Hide & Seek?
A: It’s a new game mode coming to Forza Horizon 5 in which a group of players will get one of two roles: Hider or Seekers. The Hider will have to blend in with traffic and sneak into their destination. The Seekers’ goal will be to find the hider and stop them.
Q: When will Hide & Seek become available?
A: This new game mode will become available with Series 38: Hidden Horizons on September 10, 2024.
Q: How many people will be able to join a match?
A: Six players can join each session: One Hider and five Seekers.
Q: How can I join a game in Hide & Seek?
A: You can access this new game mode through the Online tab of the Main Menu or reach the new location in your map.
Q: How long does a game of Hide & Seek Last?
A: A regular game will last 8 minutes, split into two phases of four minutes each.
Q: Will I be able to earn something from playing Hide & Seek?
A: There will be new accolades related to this game mode, as well as a new progression track tied to Hide & Seek that will let you level up and earn new badges. You will also be able to build play streaks by completing games which will give you bonus XP on your next session. Hide & Seek will feature its own leaderboard to track players’ XP score in this game mode. A set of achievements will be released in a future update in October.

A: No, only stock versions will be available to use.
Q: Can any player activate the Ping power up?
A: Yes, cooldown times for the Seeker’s powerup are separate between players, so each player can activate it when they want.

A: Level 1000 is the highest one available
Q: Will there be private lobbies available for play?
A: Yes, players will be able to matchmake solo or join as convoys (up to 6 players in a convoy).
Q: Does Hide & Seek cost anything?
A: No, this game mode will be part of the Hidden Horizons Series update and will be permanently available for all Horizon 5 players for free.
