Narrator is a screen reader that reads text, buttons, and other elements aloud on your Xbox console or Windows device.

Win10 and Win11:
Close Forza > Press the Windows Key + CTRL + Enter and it will open the Narrator Menu and automatically turn on the Narrator function. From the open window select to turn off Narrator.
Windows 10:
You can also go to Settings > Ease of Access> Narrator > to turn adjust narrator settings.
Xbox Console:
Close Forza > Settings > Accessibility > Narrator > Check or uncheck "Narrator On"

Forza Horizon 5 includes support for screen reading narration that reads text, buttons, and other elements aloud – allowing audio to guide you through the Horizon experience.
- Follow these steps to enable/disable Screen Reader narration for Xbox Series Consoles:
- Press the Xbox Button to open the guide
- Navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Narrator
- Set Narrator to on of off depending on preference
- Follow these steps to enable Screen Reader narration for a Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC:
- Open Xbox Game Bar
- (Select Start and then navigate to the app. Alternatively, press the Windows logo key + G to open the app.)
- Select the Settings icon > Gaming features.
- Select the checkboxes for "Speech-to-text on", "Text-to-speech on", "Text-to-speech voice", and "Let games read to me" to indicate your preferred settings.
- Open Xbox Game Bar
- Update Screen Reader settings in game
- Launch the game
- Get into gameplay in the open world
- Open the menu
- Select Settings
- Select Accessibility
- Scroll down to the Screen Reader option
- Set the option to System Default, On or Off based on preference
We’ve also included the ability to enable Screen Reader directly in Forza Horizon 5 through the Accessibility menu by going to Settings > Accessibility > Screen Reader and selecting Default > On > or Off.
